Titan Operational Support was founded in January 2017 with the purpose of offering our customers a wider range of services besides the in house production capacity, at Titan Wind Energy (Europe) A/S. We have handled various projects, tasks and support to our customer on a global scale since our establishment.
In order to provide more and better services to our customer, we acquired former Global Welding Control in May 2018. The acquisition enables Titan Operational Support to extend its service and support portfolio and offer 3rd party NDT inspection, welding technic and support and certification of welders.
Titan Operational Support acquired Global Welding Control, to extend the service in certification and put more focus on inspection.
“Titan Operational Support” was established and started to provide various services such as on-site inspection and repair, consultancies and project management.
The surface-treatment facility in Esbjerg is upgraded in order to have the entire process – from blasting to painting – under one roof.
Titan Wind Energy (Europe) A/S acquires the surface-treatment facility in Esbjerg from Gardit A/S.
The Titan Wind Energy division in Singapore acquires the factory in Denmark, and the first towers are hereafter produced with Titan Wind Energy (Europe) A/S as the owner.
The prototype of the first Vestas V164 tower was delivered from Titan Wind Energy (Europe) A/S. In the same year, Titan Wind Energy (Europe) A/S became approved supplier of Siemens Wind Power.
Tower section no. 13,371 is produced for Vestas.
The factory turns into a 100% wind-focused organization.
Vestas acquires the factory from Vølund, mainly to support with welded components as well as in-house tower manufacturing.
The first tubular tower is produced. In the coming years, the factory begins delivering to Nordtank, Bonus (Siemens), Vestas, etc.
The factory is taken over by Vølund, focusing on production of boilers and chimneys.
